A Memorable Moment (from the book).

Back in my dark-brown hair days, I sometimes heard people remark that I resembled Jackie Kennedy Onassis.  I never saw any strong resemblance until---- one Fall afternoon in New York City (1981).

As an account manager for Dudley Anderson Yutsy (DAY) -- the oldest public relations firm in the United States-- I worked on Madison Avenue, one of New York City’s most-prestigious addresses.  Crossing the street during my lunch break, a black limousine pulled in front of me, blocking my ascent to the curb.  I waited while an entourage of black-suited men quickly exited the large car.  I watched as the impressive-looking men formed a protective shield around a fashionably- dressed woman exiting the limo’s back seat.

Glancing in my direction, she appeared startled—and instantly stopped. Bolding staring into my face, she seemed about to speak.  For what felt like minutes, she looked at me--I looked at her and-- at almost the same time, we smiled. Flanked on all sides by the men in black, she slowly turned and began walking up a long flight of stairs leading to the front of a stately Brown Stone.

I watched as one of the men, apparently Secret Service, unlocked the impressive structure’s front door then …held it open so the elegant lady could go inside.  Before entering the Brown Stone---Jackie Kennedy Onassis turned to look at me one more time. Again, we stared at each other—smiled—and this time-- her lips parted into an even bigger smile.  As she turned to go in the house--she raised her hand and-- blew me a kiss.

Lol, I loved reading this story! As a female that dated a couple men with Harleys, I totally understand and met Harley Guy myself, many times over!
I hope you get your 3wheels someday soon!
