Age-wise, I’ve lived quite a few years.   I know what it’s like to be alone, unloved, and forgotten.  I also know how I handle adversity will either make me stronger or force me down in defeat.

The day I opened my heart and let God inside, was the day I began my Strength Training. I’m not talking about fitness machines, weights, or physical endurance.  Real Strength Training is about following God, about listen to him and learning to love yourself.   Strength Training is about restructuring your life---reaching far beyond the limits others have placed on you.  It's about fulfilling your dreams, reaching your goals, and feeling satisfied with your every-day existence. The moment I stopped being a pleaser….stopped allowing others to control me, stopped worrying about what others said or thought about me... was my “graduation day.”

God’s Power and Strength provided the training I needed to live my life. Because of him, I’ve learned to love myself and to glory in both my successes and my failures. I’ve also learned to praise myself through good times and not-so-good times. Most importantly, Strength Training has taught me-- to believe in me.

We are all worthy of love, respect, and happiness.  Now, because of God, I know that every day is a good day to sing: “Oh, how he loves you and me.”

If you never learned to believe in yourself and your amazing possibilities—you need Strength Training.  It’s so easy.   You can begin by folding your hands together, bowing your head, and closing your eyes. Take a few deep breaths- smile-open your mouth and just start talking-out-loud- to God.

You can say: “Dear Heavenly Father, I've tried so long to do everything on my own. Forgive me for leaving you out of my life. I need you--not just for today-- but for always. Please make me strong because… I am weak.  Make me strong so I can rise above those who hurt me or treat me unkindly.  Help me triumph over stressful times.  Please teach me how to love myself when there’s no one to love me.

Most importantly, God, lead me, direct me, and put me where you want me to be.  Show me what you want me to do with my life and how I can best-serve you.  I need to hear your reassuring voice and know I am not alone.  Please guide me, love me, and keep me in your constant care.  I love you God; I want you as my best friend and closest family….for always. Amen.”

The Bible says "And they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as Eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

Believe in God.   God is the Miracle.

Lol, I loved reading this story! As a female that dated a couple men with Harleys, I totally understand and met Harley Guy myself, many times over!
I hope you get your 3wheels someday soon!
