THIS MORNING, AFTER COMPLETING ANOTHER LONG HIKE WITH BIG-DOG-CUBBY-DOG,  I knew it was time, once again, to say "THANK YOU" to my legs by sharing my thoughts from an article I wrote this time, last year,  entitled:  MY LEGS---MY LONG-TALL-SALLY-LEGS.

“Yes.  I want everyone to know about the ongoing pride and admiration I feel for my amazing legs.  I love and respect my legs for a variety of reasons.  Perhaps you’ll think I’m bragging and—maybe I am but—after being called “BIRD LEGS” for most of my childhood, I have every right to be proud of the endless accomplishments made by my fearless legs.

I’m  honored to tell the world how my legs carried me from the stage of THE MISS PINE BLUFF PAGEANT…to the stage of THE MISS ARKANSAS PAGEANT…then… all the way to THE MISS AMERICA PAGEANT.

Best of all, I was deeply-honored when THE INTERNATIONAL PRESS voted my legs as THE BEST-LOOKING-LEGS at THE 1958 MISS AMERICA PAGEANT.

I’ve depended on my legs, all my life….when I skated, played “hop-scotch”, rode my bike, learned to swim and dive, took Ballroom Dancing, and eventually--- began long-distance-walking and soon…. began long-distance-running.  I’ve put extreme pressure, intense stress, and lots of wear/tear on my two slender legs but…they have never failed me. I have every reason to admire, respect, and treasure my priceless legs.

When my legs became  fifty year-old legs, they spent nearly seven months carrying me up, down, and over…some of the tallest mountains in Asia.  In fact, my legs became the FIRST PAIR OF LEGS to travel the full length of THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA!

Indeed, my legs are older now.  They have a few scars, a few broken capillaries, and have logged many thousands of miles of more stress and more complicated activities than ever yet….my legs remain strong. I’ve never had to worry about cellulite, dimpled skin, weak ankles, or knee replacements.  Through all these years my legs have remained steadfastly-faithful, regardless of their many challenges.

Most importantly, my legs always “take me with them”.  Together, we’ve traveled endless miles in unimaginable places and—even now—continue to support each other’s ongoing efforts---each step of the way”.

Lol, I loved reading this story! As a female that dated a couple men with Harleys, I totally understand and met Harley Guy myself, many times over!
I hope you get your 3wheels someday soon!
