It doesn't take much to make me happy. Every morning, I start my day early and with only a few must-haves. This one tube of GREEN Cover Stick is as necessary as my lipstick. Everything else---well---as far as makeup goes---is optional.

YES it's GREEN and it works-wonders! Years ago, when I watched a makeup artist use it as the foundation for everything that followed....I knew I must have it. It's like "priming" your walls before you paint them.

Most women find a concealer color that matches their skin then try to use it to cover imperfections, blemishes, dark spots. Usually, the results are heavy and without full coverage.

Using this GREEN Cover Stick FIRST.... cancels-out any redness in my skin, blends away the dark spots, and lightens bags/wrinkles/pock marks... without adding additional color.

My daily routine is simple:

After lightly washing my skin, then blotting it dry, I barely cover my face with Olay Moisturizer. Then I put a tiny amount of GREEN Cover stick on my finger tip and blot it around my eye area, blend some green over a few old acne scars and a few discolored areas on my forehead then...for the grand finale....rub any remaining green down the top of my nose to slenderize and define my nose.

Now....if I'm running errands after my morning exercise....I follow-up with another Cover Stick Concealer in light beige and, very-very-lightly, smooth the Concealer over the GREEN around my eyes and any other areas that might need a little more blending.

If I really want to look "finished"....I use a sponge pad and "barely" touch under my eyes, my chin, and forehead with a tiny amount of powder in a neutral shade. (I only use the powder if I'm dressed and ready to impress!

Most Days, I stick with the basics which always includes my Green Routine, Lipstick, a little Cheek color, and Eye liner. Recently, because of my more-sensitive eyes, I only use Mascara for "Fun and Games."

I'd estimate that it takes me ten minutes everyday to use my GREEN Cover Stick, highlight my eyes, and put on my lipstick.

BUT, that small amount of time is a great investment in my day! I wouldn't walk Cubby on the nature trails without my lipstick so why would I let the rest of my face look "unfinished"?!?!?

Several weeks ago....I saw a Possum peeking at me from a high-up tree limb and yesterday, I encounter a young Deer--- surely one of Bambi's relatives. I feel certain that both of my new Trail Friends appreciated that my hair was smoothly- brushed, my face looked clear because of my green cover stick and....I was wearing my lipstick.

Yes, I spend a few extra minutes every morning, adding a little color to each new day. I want to be ready for my "Close-Up".

PS...I'm sharing exactly what I buy for my needs. I DO NOT REPRESENT MAYBELLINE. I DO NOT GET PAID FOR MENTIONING ANY PRODUCTS ON MY WEBSITE. IN FACT, THE ONLY MONEY I RECEIVE FROM MY WEBSITE IS WHEN PEOPLE--LIKE YOU--BUY MY BOOK OR BUY ITEMS IN MY ONLINE STORE.....which reminds me....I need to open my store soon and give you a chance to buy some more treasures!!!!

I'll let you know when the doors to my ONLINE STORE are ready to swing open again "for shopping."  Until then.....stay close.
