I'm a writer, certainly not a poet, but Yesterday inspired me to compose a little verse. Yesterday was full of Christmas Surprises.

It helped me realize I'm not alone at this memorable time of the year.....

"And when you’re alone you remind yourself… there’s no-need for a Tree... just for me.

So…I bought a wreath to put on the door so the neighbors won’t think I’m alone anymore.

And I busied myself with nonsensical chores-- to dispel the fear I’m alone—like before.

And just when I’d settled for being alone….I heard the ring of the telephone.

My trusty-friend Brenda was calling to see… if I’d like to see somebody--other than me.

Yes, it gets even better-yet….when the mailman delivers a card from Claudette.

She certainly knows about times getting rough--- because she’s a Dear Angel---who lives in Pine Bluff.

And soon the Delivery Man knocked on my door to deliver a box… just like before.

Now my pic-pillows surround me with love for all three---my Daddy, my Brother, and---of course----Me.

More surprises--- all meant to be---- especially for someone alone, just like me.

I opened the door for a neighbor from just-down the street…who joyfully delivered many goodies to eat.

Climbing in bed at the end of the day, I'm thankful for all the surprises coming my way.

And, patting my fur babies crowded nearby, I know Love is the power that makes Loneliness die! ”

Thank You GOD for today's Many Surprises--- All delivered by your faithful Angels of Love.

Lol, I loved reading this story! As a female that dated a couple men with Harleys, I totally understand and met Harley Guy myself, many times over!
I hope you get your 3wheels someday soon!
