AS A FORMER GIRL SCOUT, I BELIEVE IN OUR MOTTO: BE PREPARED.

When all the good turns to bad…then it’s time to stop being so nice; stop being a push-over. When the writing-on-the-wall also appears on the ceiling and the floor…there are no options but to Stand Tall, Accept Your Fate, and Move Forward.

Interesting how, sometimes, those you believed would love you forever, would be close for a lifeline...so-easily turned their backs and walked away. There's no way to prepare for abandonment ...loss...or desertion but---you must be strong. Never allow others to de-value you.

IF such a day comes and you find yourself alone--the last person standing--then you will have no choice but create your own lifeline and….hold-on-tight. Be prepared to stay strong, and never-ever accept the role of “victim”.  Always be your own support system--your own very-best friend.

I know, firsthand, how much it hurts to be abandoned by those you loved but, after the initial shock, you learn to accept what you cannot change. And, once you focus on the positives in your life, you begin to value yourself. You soon recognize that you deserve nothing-less than a devoted, loving family.

I admit I wasn't prepared to face life's ending…alone.  But, looking back, I realize I've faced most-all of my life...alone.

So, in truth, I’m very well-prepared.  And, knowing God's beside me, I’m ready.

Simply,

Sally

Lol, I loved reading this story! As a female that dated a couple men with Harleys, I totally understand and met Harley Guy myself, many times over!
I hope you get your 3wheels someday soon!
