Forgive me for discussing such a delicate subject but today, after experiencing a young shopper in the Grocery Store Check-Out line who smiled as she jet-propelled sounds and smells from her behind that would cause the walking dead to stop breathing... no subject seems worthy of shock value anymore.

We seem to be living in a shock-proof world where nothing is taboo. Here’s my quick assessment of today’s reality:  Scratch where/when it itches, rub it for as long as it feels good, take it out and show it to whomever wants a look, and drop-those-drawers and g-strings whenever/wherever the urge hits you. No toilet paper? No problem! And remember:  no apologies, modesty, or personal secrets are allowed in today's world.

With today’s defiant attitudes, no one would dare announce that--- "you can’t belch, fart, puke, masturbate just anywhere you want."  Why?  Because you'd get mad and riot and protest and scream--"you're violating my rights" ! Clearly this is the "me" generation and you’re the only one who matters. I've seen you "in action".  I've watched your reaction to someone's complaints---I've seen how you get in their face, flip them the "bird",  and tell them to “F… Off”.

We’ve really come a long way. And---IN MY OPINION---don’t have much-farther to go---before reaching rock-bottom.  Thinking out loud: “Whatever happened to the days of being proud of yourself, the days of personal privacy and a sense of dignity? When did you stop wanting others to admire you, compliment your appearance, your manners, your art of conversation, your talent, and your accomplishments?  And…exactly when… did women suddenly reject the idea of being a Lady, of being elegantly dressed, well-spoken, and admired for possessing class and beauty?  Where are today’s True Ladies--the Grace Kellys and Jackie Kennedys of the world?  Where are the classy ladies who deserve to be in the spotlight, to serve as role models for young women, everywhere"?

When everything and everyone of value dies; when all the fine china and sterling silver, linens and silk, hand-embroidered pillowcases, white leather gloves, and traditional manners, have all been ditched-thrown away-discarded; when the beautiful anti-bellum homes, beautiful statues, classic gardens, and elegant lifestyles, are all history; when the lovely trees, all wildlife, all wide-open spaces with waterfalls, lakes, and rivers, have been destroyed; and when the latest in emotionless technology has replaced everything old, memorable,  loving, slow-dancing, and  classic---will it make the world and.... all  the “me” generation….happy?!?!?!

When all-the-good is gone…it’s really gone. History has proved, time and again.... there’s no getting it back.....but, facts show that no one today gives a damn about History or anything old.

So....let this and future generations learn the hard way.... or not at all.

Lol, I loved reading this story! As a female that dated a couple men with Harleys, I totally understand and met Harley Guy myself, many times over!
I hope you get your 3wheels someday soon!
